Online shopping can be daunting, especially when it comes to clothing. The same concerns arise like, who is dealing with our order? Does it work with my wardrobe? Will it fit? What about returns? Especially if it’s a gift! You likely have even more questions, but in this short article, we want to help alleviate those concerns, and help you feel more comfortable shopping with us online.

A Face Behind Every Purchase

Every online order is handled by one of the staff here at the store. Whether you’re familiar with Randy, Brian, Matt, Gregory, Jonathan or Edina, you can expect a follow up from one of us, soon after the purchase is made, but before we send it out. For returning customers (in-store or online), we try to assure it’s the same staff member every time, in order to continue to foster each relationship we’ve built.

Assurance of Fit

"I don't know if it will fit" is a concern we hear quite often. But don't worry! We ensure the fit of the garment, whether it’s for you or if it's a gift, by confirming measurements with you directly, or checking the purchase history in store to make sure you're getting the right size the first time. We have the clothes here at the store, which allows us to measure each garment before packing it up. 

For those who’ve shopped with us online before, we’ve taken note of your measurements from your initial purchase. If you’ve shopped in person, we’ve met you and have kept a record of your purchases. This knowledge gives us a baseline for future purchases and allows us to provide the right sizing advice before your next purchase.


Web Security

This is definitely the boring part of the article, but we feel it's important to let you know that we value your trust when shopping with us. When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we only use that information for that specific reason, once.

We don’t keep records of credit card data. If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify (our website platform) stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

Shipping & Returns

At our core, we are a small business with ties to the community. Whether it’s Oakville, Burlington, Toronto or Hamilton, to the best of our abilities we try to personally deliver local orders when feasible. If orders come from outside our drop off zone but in the Toronto to Montreal Region, we aim for a next-day delivery. All orders outside this region, we aim to have items delivered in under a week.

If one of the products you receive fails to live up to reasonable expectations, does not fit, or you just didn't like it as much as you thought you would, return unworn items (with tags on) within 30 days and we will gladly refund or exchange the item. We strive to ensure our customers are happy with their purchases but hate these pesky refund windows, but we do need to cover the bases.
